Jane Ann VanTine (Van Wickle) Hegeman lived on a farm in Franklin Twp., Sommerset Co., NJ. In 1874/6 her sons had been
educated at Rutgers and were helping father on the farm.

Garretson Hageman and Caroline Gano (Staats) Hageman had a daughter Jane Ann Van Wickle Hageman (b. 22 February 1888 and d. 28 May
1978. She m. Frederick Locke Bascom (b. 18 July 1887) on 25 November 1914. Frederick Locke and Jane Ann Van Wickle (Hageman) Bascom had
two children: 1) Margaret Hageman Bascom--who m. George T. Cron and 2) Dr. Petty Wilson Bascom, who m. Clara Lou Casey.
